We got high in Iquique, Chile........paragliding

Nursed back to health after a 25 hour bus ride to Santiago, Chile. Everyone is feeling muy bien!!!!

First shot at Fitz Roy, the crazy wind has taken its toll on our faces, our good looks are ¨gone with the wind.¨

Strange clouds, big mountain, cool shadow, ice.

We jumped out of a helicopter for this picture (pretty gnarly, right??)

Fitz Roy skyline. mmmmm.

Scott, little man in a big world.

Ice, Ice baby, duh duh duh duhduhduh dun.

Perito Moreno Glacier + Rainbow= Awesome

The big chunk of crystal blue ice came from underneath the glacier, it was like an island coming out from the water. The video, coming to you on April 23 (when we get home).
_______
We have now traveled on a bus for more than 108 hours, in 2 1/2 weeks. We are currently in El Calafate, Argentina, but we are going to Puerto Natales, Chile, tomorrow morning. We took a detour on our way to El Calafate and stopped in El Chalten, where we went to Fitz Roy.
Fitz Roy is a sweet stone spire that jets vertically into the sky. We had a base camp and did day hikes to several different glaciers and glacial lakes. Water was cold and drinkable without purification. They called it Agua Leche, or milky water, it was good.
After El Chalten, we made our way to El Calafate, we met 3 Israelis and rented a car to go out to the Perito Moreno Glacier, it was cheaper to rent a car than to take a bus.
Our next adventure is a 7 day trek around Torres del Paine in Chilean Patagonia to see more glaciers.
We love you all.
